DescriptionSixth plate daguerreotype of a young girl of between 8 and 10 years of age, possibly Mary Goodwin (almost certainly a girl in the Goodwin family). She is wearing a striped dress. Her dark hair is parted in the middle and pulled back, possibly in braids, the ribbon at the end of which are visible over her right shoulder. Her left hand is resting on a small table with an empty urn sitting on top.
