DescriptionView of Lucy Comtpon Street Cheney and her son, George Wells Cheney, Sr., when he was a young boy. Lucy is sitting in a rocking chair on a porch, and George is sitting on the arm of the chair with his arm around her neck. She is wearing a skirt, patterned shirt, jacket and hat. George is wearing a jacket that has two rows of buttons down the front and a plaid skirt. His hair is long and styled in ringlets. There is a hat on the ground near the rocking chair. A door is visible on the right.
