DescriptionHalf-length studio portrait of four women, grouped together in a diamond shape. The woman on the right is Alice Barrett Cheney (1858-1908). All four of them wear matching dresses that have puffed sleeves and a vertically striped bodice, and all are wearing flower tiaras. It is possible that this is a family photo of the women in the Frank Cheney, Sr. (1817-1904) family. Alice's mother was Susan Jarvis Cushing and her sisters were Katharine Sedgwick Cheney Farley (1854-1933) and Mary "Polly" Cheney (1855-1934).
