Inscription note: There is a photographer's inscription written in pencil on the photograph, to the right of the subject's left arm. The cataloger cannot decipher the initials, but "98" and "Phila" are clear. This photograph was probably taken while Marjory was attending or visiting Bryn Mawr College, outside of Philadelphia. She graduated in 1903.
Marjory Cheney was the daughter of Frank W. Cheney and Mary Bushnell. She had eleven siblings, one of whom was her twin, Dorothy.
