DescriptionTwo views depict the center of New Milford and part of the town green. In one photograph, a group of men and boys are standing in the dirt street; one man appears to be holding a baseball bat. In the other photograph, a sign reads "Railroad Crossing." Other photographs include a view of Lake Waramaug with a large house or hotel n the background, and a view showing men with fishing poles beside a dirt road bordering a small lake or a broad river. One view is identified as "The Old Sawmill near New Milford." Another photograph showing the Housatonic River flowing between steep, forested banks, is identified as "Cove of Lover's Leap."
