DescriptionAmateur photographs of men, women, and children either posing with or standing and sitting near or in an automobile. In some, the unknown men are wearing suits, hats, winter boots, and leather jackets and the unknown women and girls are wearing long dresses and aprons, sleeveless dresses, high heel shoes, fur coats, and various styles of hats. Included in the various backgrounds for these photographs are the beach and other water views, unknown houses, the outdoors, fields, forests, and snowy roadways. The photographs, which were taken over a span of many years, show a variety of automobile makes and designs. Seen in the photographs are license plates representing various states, including Connecticut, Vermont, New York, and Indiana.
