DescriptionMan's shirt of white cotton, with a one-inch-wide band collar and center front placket opening which extends for 16 1/2 inches and fastens with four white porcelain buttons. The shirt has a yoke across the back, to which the back shirt panel is gathered. The front shirt panel is gathered into the collar. The long sleeves are set smoothly into the armscye and gathered into 1 3/4 inch cuffs at the wrist. The armhole is lined with a 3 1/2-inch-wide band. The side seams are open 10 3/4 inches up from the bottom. The top of the opening is reinforced with a strip of self-fabric. The sleeves are pieced under the arm.
