DescriptionThis white child's hat is made from a woven cotton fabric. It is decorated with yellow and pink plain-woven silk ribbons and white cotton braid. The yellow ribbon is 1 3/4" wide, and it is draped and folded over the front of the crown in a "U" shape. The ribbon is gathered into an intricate bow (approximately 3 1/2" x 7") at the center back of the top of the crown. The hat has two long tails of ribbon measuring 9 1/2" and 12 1/2" long. The edge of the brim is decorated with 3/8" wide cotton braid. The underside of the brim is covered with 3/4" wide pink ribbon, tacked into repeating 1/4" pleats. The crown is lined with buckram. Brittle 1/4" wide elastic is attached at the left and right sides of the crown base, 16 1/2" long.
