DescriptionSixth-plate daguerreotype portrait of Henry Corlies and his younger sister, Louisa Betts Corlies. Henry is maybe three or four years old, while Louisa is about one. Henry is wearing a short-sleved shirt (hand-colored red) with a white rounded collar, and a pair of dark trousers. His hair is worn long and curly. Louisa is wearing a hand-colored blue dress and a red necklace.
