DescriptionMan's double-breasted duster (.a) of cream-colored coarse linen. The center front closure fastens with large tan-colored plastic buttons; it can button either to the right or to the left. It can button all the way up to the 2 5/8-inch-wide turn-down collar, or the top buttons can be left undone and the corners turned back like lapels. There is a diagonal welted pocket on each side of the front. A self-fabric belt (.b) fastens around the waist with a metal buckle; the opposite end has holes for the buckle which are reinforced with brass grommets. The center back seam of the duster is vented for twenty inches. The two-piece sleeves are set smoothly into the armscye; a short tuck is taken inside the elbow to make the sleeves curve. The wrist openings adjust in width with a self-fabric tab which can be fastened to either of two buttons. The duster is unlined; the seams are flat-felled.
