DescriptionRound, Chinese export porcelain tea bowl and saucer with hand-painted overglaze enameling in orange, green, blue, and black. The surface of the porcelain is not completely smooth; instead, it appears like the surface of an orange.

The tea bowl (.a) is decorated on the outside with a basket and flowers on one side and a small flower on the other. The exterior rim of the tea bowl shows a triangular orange enamel border with small green enamel leaves hanging down between the triangles. The rim of the tea bowl shows the remnants of gilding. An orange enamel border of small arrows is on the inside of the rim of the tea bowl.

The saucer (.b) is decorated in the center with a basket and flowers surrounded by concentric borders. The first is an orange enamel border of small arrows where the sides of the saucer begin to slope up, followed by a field of white. At the rim of the saucer is a triangular orange enamel border with small green enamel leaves hanging down between the triangles. The rim of the saucer shows the remnants of gilding.
