DescriptionBlack velveteen purse with scalloped edges and a scalloped flap extending from the top on either side. The bag is worked with glass beads in pastel shades of white, pink, blue, green, and taupe in concentric lines following the contour of the bag, and with a floral motif in the center of the bag and in the center of the flap, on each side. The bag is bound with silk; the silk sides are folded in, but will expand when the bag is filled. A matching silk tape forms a carrying handle. The bag is lined with pink glazed cotton and interlined probably with paper.
