DescriptionWhite leather "colonial" slippers, with a broad, decorative tongue, pointed toes and Louis heel. The top of each shoe, including the tongue, is decorated with clear glass beads. At the base of the tongue is mounted a satin bow, which is also decorated with the clear beads. The side seam comes forward over the instep so that there appears to be a tab opening covered by the bow. The quarters are lined with white leather, and the vamp with white, twill-woven cotton. The soles are shaped for the right and left foot. The top piece of the heel is attached with metal tacks and a screw.
