DescriptionPieced quilt in the Double Wedding Ring pattern. The quilt consists of a machine-stitched pieced top of plain-woven cotton, batting, and a bright yellow plain-woven cotton backing; the three layers are joined with a hand-stitched heart and diamond grid quilting pattern. The pattern consists of interlocking pieced circles in bright printed fabrics on a white ground; the point where each ring intersects with another is pieced with bright yellow cotton. The quilt has a scallop edge that follows the pieced pattern. The quilt is also edged with a bright yellow binding.
