DescriptionDrawers (.a): Woman's white cotton split drawers. Four rows of ruching and a 7/8-inch-wide edging of tatted lace decorate the leg bottoms. Each leg is gathered into the narrow waistband, which closes on the left side with a single white pressed glass button. The edges of the crotch have a 3/4-inch-wide facing.

Chemise (.b): Woman's white cotton chemise with wide, rounded neckline defined by a bias band of tucked self-fabric and tatted lace. The same trim appears around the opening of the short (three-inch) sleeves. A flap of ruched self-fabric trimmed with tatting is stitched into the center front neckline bias band. The flap measures 6 x 11 1/2 inches. The hem is 1 3/8-inch deep.
