DescriptionBlack satin shoes, with oval toes and knock-on heel. The shoes are constructed so that the quarters are seamed to the vamp forward of the throatline. The top of instep is decorated with an oval medallion of cut steel beads worked in a bow design. The throatline is finished with a very narrow piped edging of black grosgrain. The quarters are lined with beige leather, and the vamps are lined with cream-colored twill-woven cotton. The sock linings are missing, revealing the insole and the screws which hold on the heel. The soles are shaped for the right and left foot.
