DescriptionWoman's combination undergarment, made of cream-colored knit fabric. The neckline is scooped, and opens for 12 1/4 inches down the center front and fastens with four white plastic buttons imitating mother of pearl. The neckline is controlled with a drawstring. The legs are about knee length. The crotch is inset with two narrow panels which overlap each other, but are not stitched together, so that the crotch is open. All seams and the sleeve and leg openings are serged.

The first reads "Carter's / 'INNERWOOL' / The warmth of wool...the petal- / soft comfort of cotton and rayon / *60% cotton, 25% wool, 15% / rayon--not an itch in a stitch. / *No wool touches your skin--it's knit between two layers of/ soft cotton. / *Processed to minimize shrinkage. / THE WILLIAM CARTER COMPANY".
