DescriptionA young woman holds the arm of a young man. He wears a coat, vest, shirt, tie, and trousers and holds a small open book in his left hand. She wears a dress with a full skirt trimmed with ribbon and lace. There is a small pin at the throat of her lace collar. She wears a rose in her hair and holds a handkerchief in her let hand. The couple walk towards the left. A rustic bench made of tree branches, a rose bush in bloom, and a large tree are behind them. A path leads into the left distance, towards additional trees and the steeple of a church.
