The seaming of the boots is reinforced with double or triple rows of stitching. The welted sole is pegged in the center; the heel is reinforced with metal tacks. The center back seam of the boots is covered with a reinforcing strip of leather. A leather backing also reinforces the eyelet edges. The boots are unlined.
