DescriptionLight brown soft leather, closed tab, knee-high boots, likely designed for cycling. They are closely fitted to the leg, and lace up the front with a brown cotton shoelace, through twelve pairs of eyelets and ten pairs of enameled metal hooks. The boots are seamed up the center back. The back of the shoe is stitched with a faux seam to resemble quarters construction. The vamp is edged with decorative punch work, as is the toe cap. The toes are a rounded point. The stacked leather heel is 3/4 of an inch high and is reinforced with U-shaped metal tacks. The boot is unlined, and the soles are shaped for the right and left foot.
