DescriptionWomens' "colonial" shoes of tan, plain-woven cotton with a slightly nubby texture imitating handspun linen. The shoes are styled with imitation latchets under a "buckle" ornament of brass and the same tan cotton, backed by a pointed tongue. The toes are pointed and the slightly tapered, stacked leather heel is 1 1/ 2 inches high. The welted sole is shaped for the right and left foot
