DescriptionPurple-bronze colored leather "colonial" shoes, with pointed toes and 2-inch, almost straight Louis heel. The shoes are seamed to imitate the effect of latchets, leading to a large cut steel "buckle," backed by a pointed tongue. The throatline is finely edged with a narrow piping of matching ribbed-weave silk. The quarters are lined with burgundy-colored leather, and the vamps are lined with white twill-woven cotton. The sock lining is the purple-bronze leather. The soles are shaped for the right and left foot.
