DescriptionCast coin silver tray consisting of a shallow well, curved sides, and a narrow rim. The rim has a band of projecting lobes, each surrounded by an arch and flanked by a narrow projecting line. The center of the tray is engraved with the initials "WG"; this is is surrounded by four concentric bands of finely engraved straight and undulating lines. The tray is lightly scratched on the top and on the underside.

MarkingsThe underside of the tray has three marks, one over the other. The first is "T. STEELE". The second is a lion facing left, an anchor, and the letter "G" all in a line. The third mark is "COIN".InscribedThe initials "W. G." are engraved in the center of the tray.
