DescriptionPressed colorless glass inkwell with a bronze lid. The glass portion of the inkwell (.a) has a square footprint, is slightly wider than it is tall, and has canted edges. The glass portion is solid, with the exception of a cylindrical opening in the center, that runs nearly the full height of the inkwell. A square ledge around the cylindrical opening to the well supports a square bronze lid (.b) with canted corners. The center of the lid supports a small, disc-shaped finial. The inside rim of the cylindrical opening has several chips.
