DescriptionPair of pressed colorless lead glass saltcellars. Each saltcellar has a hexagonal, petal-shaped, flared rim, a hexagonal body with one large half-circle on each side, a short hexagonal stem, and a hexagonal foot with a flat bottom and a polished area in the center. The letter "N" is engraved by hand on to the bottom of saltcellar .1. The letter "X" is engraved by hand onto the bottom of saltcellar .2.

Saltcellar .1 has a chip on the foot and a chip at the rim, in addition to more general wear than saltcellar .2. There is a ring of wear and light scratches on the bottom of each foot.
