DescriptionBlown colorless lead glass jar (.a) with a plain rim, a cylindrical neck, a squared shoulder, a cylindrical body, and a medium kick and a pontil mark on the bottom. The jar is accompanied by a tin lid (.b) with cylindrical sides and a low domed top. Most of the exterior of the lid is rusted lightly, while the interior has fewer areas of rust.

Kick: An indentation in the bottom of a drinking glass, bottle, or other glass object.
Pontil mark: A rough place on a blown glass object where the solid metal rod, or pontil, is cracked off the object after final shaping and decoration. Pontil marks can be polished to achieve a smooth surface.
