DescriptionA man wearing a beaked cap, a jacket, pants, and boots walks through the snow towards a rail fence and a wooden building, presumably a farm building. He carries two buckets, one in either hand. Rocks, grass, and a tree stump emerge through the snow. There appears to be a frozen stream in the hollow behind the fence. Leafless trees include a clump of birches at the left. A hill with leafless trees and evergreen trees, possibly cedars, on it is in the background.
