DescriptionPressed lacy-pattern colorless lead glass bowl with a scalloped edge, ogee-curved sides, and a shallow, round foot. The top surface of the bowl is smooth, and the pattern is pressed into the bottom. The pattern begins in the center with a flower, or thistle, that is flanked by a pineapple surrounded by two leaves. The flower, pineapples, and leaves are on a stippled background. This design is surrounded by a circular border of stars and double-curved lines of rope. The pattern on the sides of the bowl consists of flowers inside curved lines, or leaves, with sprays of leaves above and pineapples and leaves below. The pattern on the sides of the bowl is also on a stippled background. There is one chip on the underside of the scalloped edge, and one spot of opaque white paint on the interior side of the bowl.
