DescriptionA man and a woman walk down a path leading to the entrance of a stone church with a tall steeple surmounted by a dome and a weathervane. Four Corinthian columns support the pediment over the front porch. The path is lined with benches and young trees. Additional trees, including willows, grow at the left and right. A fence, apparently an iron fence, surrounds the church yard. Additional buildings, including what appear to be row houses, are visible in the background beyond the fence.
