DescriptionSpherical, porcelain knob with a cylindrical hole at one side showing an irregular interior surface. Opposite the hole, the knob is decorated with a field of red enamel that has an irregular edge. The edge of the red enamel is decorated with gilded leaves and scrolls. A pattern of gilded diamonds, each with a dot in the center, covers the red field. Outside of this, the white porcelain is decorated with a garland of multi-colored flowers outlined in gilding. The hole is surrounded by a band of gilding.
