DescriptionSlender pin made of blown colorless glass with a pink stain; the pin is in the shape of a small vase. The glass portion of the pin consists of a slightly flared rim, tapered cylindrical sides, and a rounded bottom. The glass portion is decorated with an all over pattern of thick, gilded scrolls interrupted periodically by small flowers in blue, green, white, orange, and yellow enamels. There is additional gilding at the rim and bottom of the glass portion. Two metal rings, possibly gold, circle the glass portion and attach it to a pin mechanism. The glass portion of the pin has a small pierced disc of wax adhered to the inside, and some of the gilding at the bottom has worn off.
