DescriptionRectangular stoneware bowl with a teal and white glaze. The bowl sits on a square foot, and the ogee sides swell and flare to a rectangular rim. The bowl is glazed with an all-over teal glaze, with an additional white glaze splattered on the rim and sides. There is a small area, on the inside bottom corner of the bowl, where the thick glaze did not quite cover the ceramic below. Three stilt marks are visible on the bottom of the bowl, revealing the white earthenware beneath, and connecting to minor crazing. There are some minor scratches on the bottom of the bowl.

MarkingsThere is one mark on the bottom of the bowl, which may be hand-written or stamped in script. The mark reads, "Wheel Ware/ Conn. 704-6". Alternatively, the mark may read, "Wheel Ware/ Conn. 194-6".
