DescriptionShort-waisted jacket for a small boy, made of dark brown plain-woven cotton. It is the top half of a skeleton suit. Collarless, with revers at neck opening. Three self-covered buttons at center front opening. Four other buttons around waist would have attached to the pants, which are no longer extant. The sleeves are made of a brown cotton that is not quite as dark as the fabric used for the jacket body. The lower edge of the jacket is lined with a brown and tan striped plain-woven cotton.
This coat was probably worn with shirt 2001.49.35.
