DescriptionRound, Chinese export porcelain tea bowl decorated with hand-painted enamels in purple, red, green, pink, and black. The primary decoration is a group of one large pink flower and several small red and purple flowers and green leaves located on the side of the tea bowl. There is a smaller pink flower with green leaves painted on the opposite side. The tea bowl has two borders, the first being a narrow purple enamel line of varying width painted on the outside of the rim. The inside of the rim is painted with a solid green line that is overlaid with a scalloped black line. A red enamel dot has been applied where the scalloped line dips down. There is one small chip in the rim, and several areas where the enamel has flaked or worn off. The tea bowl probably had additional enamel decoration that has since worn off.
