DescriptionMen, women, boys, and a girl are seated on beaches. Most wear bathing suits, but some women wear dresses or skirts and blouses. Some wear or hold sunglasses. One woman wears a bathing cap. One boy holds a small black and white dog, apparently a terrier. Some sit beneath beach umbrellas. One umbrella has a printed advertisement for radios on it. Automobiles are parked in the background of some photographs. Railroad tracks are in the background of others. A dock and a motor boat are in the background of one photograph.

Subject Note: According to the donor, most of the people are members of the Schaber family, including Lisbeth, Herman Heinrich, Herman Richard, and Richard Schaber. The dog's name is Skippy. (Finlay 7/12/2004)
