DescriptionA young man and a young woman stand in a field of grain, presumably rye. The man wears a jacket and has his right arm around the woman's waist. His legs are hidden behind her skirt. She wears a plaid dress with a wide neckline and has a flower in her hair. She is seen from the back. The head of a young boy wearing a stocking cap is visible above the grain at the left. A windmill with broken sails is in the right background beyond a thin line of trees.
