DescriptionView of three women and a boy on the steps of a small hexagonal porch that protrudes from the side of a house. An elderly woman sits in a chair on the top step, with a middle-aged woman that could be Electa Cheney Goodman (1821-1903) standing to the right of her. There is a younger woman sitting on the edge of the step below them, on the left, and a boy sitting on the right. A small dog is laying on a lower step between the young woman and boy. The sides of the porch are covered in ivy.
