DescriptionA man with long hair, a beard, and mustache kneels on the ground at the left. His hands are crossed on his chest. He wears a long robe. Above him, in the clouds at the right, is an angel holding a chalice in his right hand and a cross circled with a crown of thorns in his left. He wears a gown with undersleeves, a gold collar, and a band in his hair. The heads and wings of two cherubs float above his right wing. Rays of light emanate from the upper right corner. Grasses, flowers, and plants grow in the foreground. A bush, possibly a rose bush, is at the far left.
