DescriptionHalf-length-portrait of a standing woman wearing a dress with bell sleeves made of a translucent material such as tulle and trimmed with fringe on the shoulders. Her jewelry includes a bracelet on her left wrist and a string of beads in her hair. A veil, apparently attached to her headpiece, extends over her right shoulder. A garland of flowers, including roses and morning glories, is draped over her head, and one end hangs down her back as far as her waist. The other end extends over her left shoulder and is held against her bodice with her right hand.
