DescriptionBorn digital photograph of a rally organized by the Greater Hartford Interfaith Action Alliance (GHIAA) on June 12, 2020 to demand police accountability and transparency. This rally was organized in response to the murder of George Floyd and in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. More than 90 clergy from various denominations, including Christian, Jewish, and Muslim faiths, stood on the steps of Hartford's City Hall to denounce racism and to demand from Mayor Luke Bronin and representatives of the Hartford Police Department and the Hartford Police Union for the reinstitution of the citizen review board and other matters concerning police accountability.

Clergy gather on the steps of Hartford City Hall. Rabbi Debra Cantor of B'nai Tikvoh Sholom is in the blue dress with the Black Lives Matter sign. Rev. Isaac Lawson from Immanuel Congregational Church is in black holding a sign with the congregation's name. Dawn David Paul, Director of Collaborative Center for Justice is on the right holding a sign with the organization's name on it. Most of the people are wearing face masks.
