DescriptionRocco Thomas Capobianco's WWII Army Air Corps uniform Aviation Cadet Elastique Wool Coat, manufactured by Admur Clothing Co. in 1941 according to Army Spec. No. 99.
The jacket is made in 18-oz elastic wool by the yard in the color Olive Drab No.34. It is provided with a strip in the same fabric at the level of the belt. The inside of the jacket is lined with Rayon, Viscose Satin, 5-oz, on the entire surface of the sleeves and on the front side. Two large pockets are made of Olive Drab No. 3 cotton. The jacket is equipped with four pockets, two of which are on the chest and two on the hips. They are closed by flaps, which are held with buttons embossed with the coat of arms of the United States of America.
