A pointed structure on the roof at the left may be a cupola over the portion of the building that serves as a barn. A covered pump is beside a tree in the right foreground. A man and a small child in the left foreground are on a path leading to the inn. Immediately in front of the building is a horse-drawn carriage with a single passenger.
