NotesSubject Note: Tiffany Farms in Lyme, one of the oldest Connecticut family farms, was founded in the 1700s and has been owned and operated by the Tiffany family since 1848. First a dairy farm, the farm now raises beef cattle, flowers, and also operates the Lyme Farmers Market. Tiffany Farms received the Century Farm Award in 1980. CCHAP documented several farms during fieldwork for its 2014 exhibit "Dairy Farms in Connecticut: Change and Continuity." Additional materials exist in the CCHAP archive for this project.
