DescriptionWoman's synthetic black crepe dress, with a wide, round neckline and center back opening that extends 32 1/2" and fastens with six round, self covered buttons with corresponding welted buttonholes. Two snaps at the neckline stabilize the opening. The dress is styled with a yoke construction that extends into the long, straight sleeves, the waistline is dropped to hip-level, and the skirt is eased into the seam to create a slight amount of fullness. The dress front and back are fitted with long vertical darts. The skirt is constructed with two layers of fashion fabric, both fully hemmed. The entire dress is lined with black polyester. There are two woven tape labels in the dress. At the center front inside neckline is: "DO NOT USE / STEAM IRON," and on a skirt seam is: "NORMAN NORELL / NEW YORK."
