NotesSubject Note: The Connecticut Historical Society held a Spring Festival in its auditorium for many years, organized by then Education Director Christine Ermenc and featuring a variety of ethnic performers. CCHAP attended this festival to document and meet the performers, and began a long collaboration with the Rancho Folclorico do Clube Portugues, culminating in a presentation of this group at a CHS Outdoor Concert in 2018. CCHAP also presented the Gwiazdeczki Dancers, a folk dance group from Saints Cyril and Methodius School and Parish, Hartford, at the opening of the exhibit Polonia w Connecticut in December 2000 at ICR.Additional audio, video, and/or photographic materials exist in the archive relating to this event and these artists.
