NotesSubject Note: In 1993-1994 Rebecca Joseph of CCHAP and David Marshall of the Connecticut Commission on the Arts developed and managed an NEA-funded program to bring folk artists into Winthrop School in New London. The folk arts-in-education project also trained four folk artists to present their art form in educational settings, including indigenous heritage artist Mike Guillemette, and African American musician and visual artist Ralph Yohuru Williams.
