DescriptionWhite, cotton shirtwaist with center back closure, long sleeves, high collar, peplum, tape lace, bobbin lace insertions, and embroidered net. The shirtwaist is made entirely of lace, with the exception of the silk peplum. The majority of the shirtwaist is tape lace, including the sleeves and high collar. The cuffs are made of a series of bobbin lace insertions, which also decorate the seam between the tape lace and silk peplum. The overall design of the tape lace is naturalistic. Small sections of embroidered net are used as embelishment around the shirtwaist collar. The center back closes with hooks and eyes.
