DescriptionBlack, brimless, shallow-crown hat trimmed with four bows around the edge and a lattice-pattern of sequins over the top. Net veiling covers the crown and extends approximately eleven inches below center front. Hat and all trimmings are black.

NotesHistorical Note: According to the donor, she wore this hat to her daughter's wedding in 1936. Marilyn Quilitsche (b. 1930) married Michael Vignone in Newington, Connecticut.
