DescriptionRed leather pumps with a three-inch-high covered heel and black side edging. The toe of the shoe is decorated with seven tear-drop shaped cut outs forming a triangular shape with a red leather bow at the base across the throat of the shoe. The bow is also decorated wth two tear-drop shaped, padded figures. The interior of each shoe is lined with a beige leather along the sides and a deep red bottom stamped with gold. Decorative stitching is run along the top edge of each shoe.

MarkingsOn the inside of the shoes and on the sole of the right shoe is stamped in gold on deep red, "Matrix/ Your footprint in leather" with a rose design. Stamped in gold on red inside the left shoe is "G. Fox & Co./ Hartford, Conn." Written inside both shoes in blue on the side is "8 1/2 C/ 2b/ 5125-9/ 7T0307".One end of the shoe box is printed with, "8 1/2 C A8 5125-9/ Matrix/ Your Footprint In Leather". The opposite end reads, "Matrix/ Your Footprint In Leather". Both sides of the box read, "Matrix shoes for the woman of Quality". Inside the box on the ends is printed "© 1951 Frank C. Meyer Co. Inc. Brooklyn & Lawrence, U.S.A." Along the side is "America's Greatest Shoe Carton Manufacturers". On top is printed, "Matrix/ Your Footprint in Leather" with an image of a rose in green and red.
