DescriptionWoman's black felt hat with black netting. The top of the head is black, with a two-inch-high crown piece accented with rows of machine-stitching extending up two-inches from the edge. The hat is shaped to extend 5 1/2 inches below the crown over the back of the head. A bow of felt is stitched at the back, under which the netting is secured to the hat crown. The netting extends forward over most of the hat and would cover the face of the wearer. A large patch of feathers, dyed a deep pink color, fans out and down on the proper left side from under the bow.
